How it works
Enter your courses with their letter grade and credit hours. The tool calculates how many grade points each course contributes, then divides the total by your total credit hours to get your GPA.
The formula
GPA = Total Grade Points ÷ Total Credit Hours
Each course contributes: grade point value × credit hours. For example, a B+ (3.3 points) in a 3-credit class adds 9.9 grade points to your total.

Grade scales
- 4.0 scale: Standard US scale where A/A+ = 4.0, A− = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, B = 3.0, etc.
- 4.3 scale: Some schools use this where A+ = 4.3 (slightly higher top value)
